- A German primary school for boys and girls is founded by the Moravian Brothers Community
1926
- The German Humanistic Mid-school moves to the newly-constructed building in Gimnazjalna Street
12 November 1945
- Mieczysław Petri starts the Polish Private General Mid-school at the former Parish School on the corner of Kuśnierska and Kościelna Streets
5 February 1946
- A private Evening Mid-school is created, the headmistress is Maria Strzelecka
16 June l946
- The school’s seat moves to a former Soviet army hospital in Gimnazjalna Street
5 August 1946
- The school changes its name to State General Mid-school and Secondary School
March 1947
- The first final exams at the Evening Mid-school
May 1948
- The first final exams at the General Secondary School
19 November 1955
- The 10th jubilee and the first graduate reunion
1960
- The sporting grounds, including tennis courts, are built
1961 - 1963

A new wing is added to the school, holding classrooms and the auditorium
1 February 1964
- The school adopts the name of Janek Krasicki; the ceremony is attended by his mother
8 May 1965 - The 20th jubilee, the second graduate reunion
1969 – 79
- Mr Z. Palczyński starts the school theatre called “Muza”
1971
- Parent teacher association founds the School Standard
1977
- Partnership with the German secondary school in Hoyerswerda is started by Ms G. Pirus
1978
- A visit of the Ambassador of France
22 April 1978
- The 30th jubilee, the third graduate reunion
11 - 15 April 1988
- Partnership with Carl von Ossietzky Oberschule from Berlin is started; visits of German students from Achim and Cottbus
1990
- Delegates from our school take part in a Euroseminar on Polish – French – German relations. The conferences take place in the cities of Stella Maris , Bocholt, Zielona Góra, Berlin and Hoyerswerda
1992
- Ms M. Stachowiak starts the school theatre called “Za”
1994
- The school, as one of merely 15 schools in Poland, introduces the French curriculum in humanistic classes, enabling our students further education at French universities without having to take entrance exams
1995
- The school, together with the partner schools from Berlin and Hoyerswerda, is awarded the Gustav-Heinemann-Bürgerpreis
1997 – 98
- The great flood affects the school, major renovations follow
2001
- Ms A. Chyżak starts the school theatre called “Avis”
2004
- The school organises the first nation-wide competition on Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński, which becomes an annual event
2004
- Partnership with a German school in Senftenberg is started
January 2005
- The Association of the School’s Friends and Graduates is founded
